NOTICE: This cave is currently closed to protect endangered bats from possible exposure to deadly White Nose Syndrome (WNS).

he SCCi and the Birmingham Water Works Board (BWWB) entered the Anderson Cave Preserve Cooperative Management Agreement in May 2007 to reduce unauthorized entry and potential liability of caves within its watershed. The SCCi will study and help to protect the endangered species that may be present.
