Support the Southeastern Cave Conservancy!

You can join the SCCi and help preserve caves and cave access in the Southeast for as little as $25 a year! Membership dues have allowed the SCCi to purchase or lease 27 preserves, 63 caves, 1,453 acres, in six southeastern states, and acquire over $1.7 million in land assets. Over 97% of every dollar donated goes directly to cave acquisition and stewardship. Your contribution really does make a difference! Please join us!

Regular Memberships

Regular membership is $25 a year. Your dues go directly towards buying and managing caves around the region. Members receive newsletters during the year and vote in the annual election of board members. Fill out the SCCi membership form now to become a member or join online.

Sustaining Memberships

Sustaining memberships allows the SCCi to have a steady source of monthly income to help pay our bills. This program allows you to make regular monthly or quarterly contributions via a credit or debit card. More than 300 SCCi members participate in this program, which provides a regular and predictable income stream allowing the Conservancy to purchase caves using loans and mortgages. Without this kind of steady and dependable support, it would be much more difficult to carry out the out program of cave acquisition and protection. If you are currently a regular member, please consider upgrading to a Sustaining member. Remember, $25 is likely less than you spend on fast food meals each month!

Planned Giving

Addionally, you can help ensure the long-term success of the Conservancy by making a provision in your will, life insurance, or estate plan to leave a gift to the Conservancy. This is called planned giving. The SCCi's Valhalla Society provides a way for you to make a lasting contribution to cave conservation. Please consider joining the Valhalla Society!

Additional Information

In addition to cave acquisition, ownership, and management, the SCCi also conducts conservation and educational projects including cave clean-ups and restoration work, cave traffic monitoring, and caver education days.

The SCCi is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3) corporation and is governed by a 9 member Board of Directors the membership elects. The SCCi has an annual members meeting each Spring, as well as quarterly Board meetings at locations around the southeast.
