100-Acre Preserve Includes Main Entrance
The SCC completed the purchase of Kennamer Cave in January, 1997.
- The property is 100 acres and includes the main sink entrances to
Kennamer Cave, as well as Upper Kennamer Cave.
- Kennamer Cave is over 12,000 feet long, has six entrances, and is
one of the finest caves in Alabama.
- Please park at the start of the 4WD road and walk.
- Use of the property is governed by the
Kennamer Cave Preserve Management Plan.
